Artist's Description

This is the view south from Peachland, British Columbia on a cool, calm autumn afternoon. This section of Okanagan Mountain Park was burned in the massive forest fire of 2003. Some pictures cry out for black and white and this is definitely one of them. Notice how the late afternoon sun glistens off the rock laid bare by the dramatic fire over 10 years ago.
